I have not done this before, but I am so excited to share a post, “Beauty is Not the Size of My Jeans.” It was written by a very special “second daughter” of mine, Suzannah.
God has blessed this young lady with everything the world would see as important and valuable: brains, beauty, and boyfriend. Much more importantly she is godly, wise beyond her years, confident, well-spoken, courageous, humorous, generous, and most beautiful from the inside out! She is a terrific listener, and as you will recognize very quickly, has much to say.
For those of us who have struggled with body image and acceptance, this article gets right to the heart of truth. It’s a lesson we would do well to internalize … yesterday…!
In God’s sovereignty and wonderful sense of humor, He has placed Suzannah in the heart of the “beauty world” in Southern California. She has become a professional esthetician and not only serves the physical needs of many in her work, but touches the hearts and souls of each one as well.
